Inspired by In Love with the World by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

This Yin-style BIPOC class offers an invitation to pause, soften, and rest in present-moment awareness. Drawing from Mingyur Rinpoche’s reflections on meeting life directly, this practice centers being with experience rather than moving away from it.

Through gentle movement, long-held Yin shapes, breath awareness, and stillness, participants are supported in reconnecting with the body as a place of grounding and truth. Inspired by the spirit of the Buddhist March for Peace, this class approaches presence not as withdrawal, but as a way of showing up with dignity and care, both individually and collectively.

This offering is not about fixing, transcending, or bypassing what is difficult. Instead, it creates space for honesty, rest, and connection, honoring presence as a meaningful practice in uncertain times.

No prior yoga experience needed. Chair and mat variations will be offered.
