About the event
Inspired by Restorative Yoga for Ethnic and Race-Based Stress and Trauma by Dr. Gail Parker
Periods of social engagement and seasonal transition can bring both energy and exhaustion. This workshop offers a deliberate slowing down, a communal space for rest, regulation, and quiet restoration.
Drawing from restorative yoga practices designed to support ethnic and race-based stress, participants will be guided through supported postures, gentle shapes, breath practices, and opportunities for reflection. The emphasis is not on productivity or performance, but on allowing the nervous system to settle in the presence of community.
Together, we explore how rest can be relational and how grounding practices help rebuild capacity without urgency or pressure.
