About the event
For many BIPOC folks, survival has required compartmentalization: shaping ourselves to fit systems that were never built with us in mind. Over time, this can pull us away from our own truth. Inspired by Real Self-Care by Dr. Pooja Lakshmin, this workshop offers space to gently explore what it means to return by noticing the gap between what we value and how we live, and learning to close that gap with honesty, compassion, and choice.
Through intentional movement, steady breath, and guided reflection, we’ll explore how alignment feels somatically, approaching integrity as something lived in the body, not just understood intellectually. This practice centers agency over obligation. It is not about fixing yourself; it's about living with greater honesty.
No prior yoga experience needed. Chair variations available.
